Personal Color Palette

For my personal color Palette, I chose to attempt to really capture me and who I am.  The focal point of the piece is the portrait of me in the bottom right corner.  The monochromatic blues are also a big part of the composition.  To actually capture the colors acurately, I downloaded "pallettes" off of the App store and the app essentially pulls every color out of the image as seen above.    The coolest part of this piece are the hues that actually come out as opposed to what one may percieve with the naked eye.  Where as I may have said the bars were yellow at a first glance, the color that actually comes out is a light tan shade.  The skin tone(s) are also a point of interest as the colors vary based on lighting, producing different hues.  The color palette taught me that there is more to hues than meets the eye (literally).  I cannot wait to take on color theory and understand tints and shades a lot better.
